A study of 45 spatial vectorcardiograms of patients with posterior myocardial infarction revealed a characteristic upward displacement of the early portion of the QRS sÊ-loop. Changes in the later portion of the QRS sÊ-loop may occur as a result of infarction. The possible utilization of such findings in the diagnosis of infarction is discussed.
