Correction

In the article, "Porphyromonas gingivalis Infection Accelerates the Progression of Atherosclerosis in a Heterozygous Apolipoprotein E–Deficient Murine Model" by Li et al that appeared in the February 19, 2002, of the journal (Circulation. 2002;105:861–867), the Acknowledgments were incorrect.
